Hindenburg probe says India's market regulator holds huge funds used by Adani Group By Reuters.

MUMBAI (Reuters) – US short-seller Hindenburg Research in a new report released on Saturday alleged that the chairman of India's market regulator, Madhabi Puri Buch, had invested in certain offshore funds that were used by the Adani group.

Buch did not immediately respond to a phone call and a WhatsApp message.

Citing the Whindenburg papers, Hindenburg said that Buch and her husband were involved in an offshore fund in which a sum of money was invested by Vinod Adani, the brother of Gautam Adani, who is the chairman of the Adani group of companies.
