Biden talks to European allies about Middle East tensions, Gaza ceasefire By Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – US President Joe Biden spoke with the leaders of France, Germany, Italy and the UK on Monday to discuss tensions in the Middle East and an end to the fighting in Gaza, a White House spokesman said.
In a joint statement issued by the White House on Monday, the leaders of the five countries said they approved the announcement from the United States, Qatar and Egypt to renew the talks on the cessation of hostilities in Gaza in order to conclude the agreement quickly.
“They emphasized that there is no more time to lose,” the statement said.
The statement also expressed support for Israel against any threat from Iran while calling for the distribution and delivery of aid to Gaza.
