(Reuters) – Russia attacked Kyiv, the Ukrainian military said early on Monday, adding that according to initial information there were no injuries or damage.
10 drones were destroyed when they approached the city in Kyiv region, said Serhiy Popko, head of the military administration in Kyiv, on the Telegram messaging service.
He added that full estimates of the extent of the attack would come later on Monday.
Much of central and eastern Ukraine was under air strike warnings at 0230 GMT on Monday.
