When is McDonald's Monopoly 2024?
McDonald's Monopoly launches on 4 September 2024.
It usually lasts until the end of October.
How to play 2024 McDonald's Monopoly
For the most food you buy, you have a McDonald's Monopoly sticker or game piece.
Each one is based on a classic Hasbro board game, and you need to collect each set.
You can collect game pieces each time you eat or drink, save them and exchange them for free McDonald's food or great prizes!
You can use the McDonald's app to scan or enter your location to bank it (and keep it safe).
DO NOT DISCARD THE PIECES
You will need a peel off sticker to redeem your prize. So, even though you can store their information in the app, keep the pieces somewhere safe as well.
Every time you do this, you get an extra page and another visual sticker to add to your collection.
There are no portable or printable game boards this year, and the peelable piece does not have a “sticky” layer to stick to another surface. Don't just keep all the pieces in the app.
What are the prizes?
There are a number of different things to conquer. Each sticker can earn you different rewards:
Instant prizes to win
With some Monopoly stickers, you can get an instant prize.
The sticker will say what you've won, which can be a free McDonald's meal that you can get quickly from restaurants, like a McFlurry or Apple Pies (which I usually win).
There are also loads of other prizes such as shopping vouchers, £2,000 to spend on a holiday, cash, and you can even win a prize in a set of key buildings.
Collect in the Wine game – online game pieces
Every sticker gets you a Digital Page.
When you're done creating a page online, you have a few different results:
- Property Peel – you win a random common or rare property.
- Community Chest Peel – win an instant prize (non-monetary items such as shopping vouchers and free McDonald's food)
- Prize Draw Peel – win entry to one of nine prizes (winner announced after draw closes)
- Cash Peel – win a prize of between £5 and £100
Online cash prizes are awarded at a rate of 2 win times every minute!

If you happen to “mix” other stickers, there is a daily limit of 24 per person per day.

I think, deep down, that's what everyone wants to get – and get a complete set in one meal – we can't dream!
With a local game piece, you find a street or station. Then you need to collect the whole set on the McDonald's Monopoly game board to win a prize.
Therefore, depending on the set, you will need to collect two, three or four different buildings.

How to increase your chances of winning
Eating more burgers might be one way to get more stickers, but it will cost you ££ and you'll gain lbs!
One of the best ways to do it is to be more selective about what you eat.
Eat carefully
Your regular may be a Big Mac-priced meal, but you won't find the best value for the sticker. In fact, you won't find many at all!
You don't get a sticker with specific items, so you'll miss out.

Fries are considered an unhealthy option, so they have been reduced to 2 stickers from 2019.
For more, the best thing to do is swap the fries for a side salad.
The famous Big Mac or nuggets do not come with any stickers. So, it's best to switch to Big Sweet or Chicken Choice while it's running.
Choose your online gaming sessions carefully
As I mentioned above, there are two winning times per minute of online games.
This can also mean that you have more chance of losing from time to time during the Monopoly promotion.
Don't run to the computer after lunch and code – everyone does that. Get hold of yourself.
Try and code first thing in the morning, or even in the middle of the night, as you will have less competition with others.
You can also log in 24 times a day in the online game.
Trembling
You may have already done this with loyalty program receipts…Not sure how much you saved? If you see trash on the ground (not in the bin as it's actually considered theft), you can use the receipt for additional loyalty benefits.
With McDonald's in general, you can get free coffee stickers (although they are being discontinued now for the collection of the app only).
During McDonald's Monopoly, you can get more stickers from the customer who doesn't collect the game pieces.
Employees may not be very happy; others may not care.
