What is Martie?
If you've followed me for any length of time, you know what a fan I am of discount grocery stores. Every time I talk about a discount grocery store we like to go to when we're traveling through Missouri, people will reach out and say they wish they could find something similar in their area.
Although some places have similar discount grocery stores, I know many do not. So when my sister texted me asking if I had heard of this company called Martie's, an online discount grocery store, I knew I had to check it out and maybe do a review!
Is everything going well?
I placed the order within a few days and was impressed with the selection on Martie's website. They advertise that most of their prices are 40-70% off and I found that to be quite true.
There are some things that aren't great deals compared to what you can find at the grocery store, but if you usually shop for organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, or allergy-friendly items, you'll probably find some. great deals on the site. I recommend sorting by price to see the lowest priced deals!
Is there a catch?
Since this is an online discount store, you never know for sure what they will have in stock, they limit certain purchases, and all items tend to expire within a few weeks to a few months.
But if you're like me and don't really see shelf-stable expiration dates as hard and fast rules and/or you can use things up or stick them in the freezer, you'll love digging what's on Martie's site!
