Hub International has expanded its footprint with the acquisition of AIG Agency, which operates as Associated Insurance Group, for an undisclosed sum.
An independent agency in Maryland Heights, Missouri, Associated Insurance Group specializes in both commercial and personal and casualty insurance. The deal marks the Hub's second foray into the St. Louis area. Louis during the past year, highlighting the company's continued regional expansion.
Associated Insurance Group president Gregory Wherry and his entire team will meet with Mid-America operations at the Hub. The agency will operate under the name “Associated Insurance Group, a Hub International company.”
The new arrival follows Hub's recent deal to acquire Creative Financial Strategies in South Carolina. The latter offers a range of investment and financial planning services to both individual and corporate clients across the US. Creative Financial Strategies will be part of Hub Carolinas and Hub RPW (retirement and private wealth).
Meanwhile, other new developments at the Hub include its partnership with MAS Seguros, Mexico's largest truck insurance broker. The exclusive referral and reseller program includes the US, Canada, and Mexico, supporting businesses that conduct cross-border operations throughout North America.
Through the partnership, customers of both Hub and MAS Seguros will gain access to an extensive network of insurance, risk management, and claims specialists, as well as legal referrals in all three countries.
