Allstate extends support for all college sports, athletes
NORTHBROOK, Ill., Oct. 28, 2024 – Allstate today announced a new chapter in its longtime support of college athletics that will highlight and elevate every sport and every athlete. As part of this effort, Allstate will expand its most recognized and impactful college football facilities – the Good Hands field goal networks program and the Good Works Team – to create more opportunities for all student-athletes to achieve success on and off the field.
- To create more opportunities for student-athletes: We are celebrating 20 yearsth year 2025, Allstate's Good Hands nets have become a Saturday staple in college football while raising millions of dollars for general education. Starting today, Allstate will increase its donations for each field goal and extra point made during a game and direct them to fund student-athlete scholarships in all sports.
- Increasing social impact: The Allstate AFCA Good Works team currently recognizes 22 college football players each year who give back to their communities. Beginning this winter sports season, Allstate will partner with the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) to expand the Good Works Team to honor 60 student-athletes during the winter, spring and fall sports seasons, expand and realize community impact. of many student-athletes in all sports.

Award-winning sports journalist and broadcaster Holly Rowe will work with Allstate to increase the impact of these programs.

A legacy in college sports

This January will be celebrated on the 19thth year as the title sponsor of the Allstate Sugar Bowl, one of the many college sports venues where Allstate connects with fans, student-athletes and communities.
