Japan's Sept unemployment rate falls to 2.4%, job availability rises Reuters
TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan's unemployment rate fell to 2.4 percent in September from 2.5 percent in August, government data showed on Tuesday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate compares with the economists' median forecast of 2.5%.
The job-to-claims ratio in September rose to 1.24 from 1.23 in August, separate Labor Department data said. The average prediction was 1.23.
