The Allstate Foundation empowers young transitioners with college service grants

NORTHBROOK, Ill., Nov 1, 2024—The Allstate Foundation, in partnership with the Center for Expanding Leadership & Opportunity (CELO), has awarded $10,000 each to 50 colleges and universities. These funds will go directly to youth-led, youth-driven programs on campuses across the country. It is part of the Allstate Foundation’s national strategy to empower young people to serve and improve communities.

“We believe that young people have new ideas to make an impact in their communities, so it is important that we equip and empower them with the resources to turn their ideas into action,” said Greg Weatherford II, Allstate Foundation Director of Social Impact. “These national grants are designed to put more dollars in the hands of youth leaders, to rally other youth alongside them to accelerate positive change where they live.”
