Thomson Reuters reports higher third-quarter revenue via Reuters
(Reuters) – Thomson Reuters (NYSE:) on Tuesday reported better-than-expected third-quarter earnings and raised its forecast for full-year revenue growth.
The Toronto-based content and technology company reported an 8% rise in quarterly revenue to $1.72 billion, just ahead of analyst expectations, according to LSEG data.
The company reported adjusted earnings per share of 80 cents. Wall Street had expected earnings per share of 76 cents.
The company said it now expects full-year earnings to rise about 7%, from an earlier expectation of about 6.5%.
