In his new role, Broad will oversee FM’s core insurance operations, including underwriting, research and engineering, claims, data analytics and artificial intelligence, as well as global customer services, sales, and marketing, according to the news release. Broad, who has worked with FM for over 30 years, brings extensive experience across the global insurance industry. He has held senior roles in Australia, Asia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, most recently as senior vice president and chief underwriter.
