40 books I read in 2024
I read 40 books in 2024. Although that was my lowest number of books read in a year in a long time, I will celebrate it because there were many things I chose to prioritize over reading this past year. And 40 books a year is nothing to be ashamed of. Also, I read some great books!
Tomorrow, I’ll share my top 4 lessons from 2024, but today I’m sharing a list of all the books I’ve read…

It’s not showing because I just finished it: We have reconnected with Themba le Zulu
I finished both of these on our trip to Kansas over Christmas so I didn’t show it in the pictures I took before we left!
Speaking of which, this was my first year keeping all the books I read on the shelf. I usually give away or give away a lot of books after reading them, but this year I thought it would be fun to keep them as a visual reminder of everything I read this year. Here is my bookshelf with all the books!
Do you know how many books you have finished in 2024? Have you set your academic goals for 2025?
Tomorrow, I’ll share my top 4 reads from 2024 (any guesses as to which books I’ll pick??) and then on Monday, I’ll share the books I plan to read in January!
