What I want to do in 2025 is spend more time with my friends. Now that we are all married with children, it is hard to find time to spend time. So, we thought of planning a trip together. Planning a boys trip can be a little difficult. You want to choose a place that everyone will enjoy and can comfortably afford. At the same time, you want to create unforgettable memories. So, where are you going? From the rugged outdoors to the beautiful lights of Vegas, there are some places that are perfect for fun with your group. Here’s a look at 10 places that I think would make great spots for your next boys trip.
1. Moab, Utah: Unchangeable Paradise
Moab, Utah is a great destination for anyone looking for adventure. You can visit Arches National Park or Canyonlands National Park. There are also amazing places to walk with the boys under the sandstone arches. Other fun activities include biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, and horseback riding. If you’re looking for something more low-key you can also check out the Moab Museum or one of the many breweries. It’s a great place for a group of guys who enjoy the outdoors.
2. Banff, Canada: Wilderness Wonderland
Banff is often a place to visit in the winter. It’s a great place to visit for Christmas because it has a Hallmark vibe to it. However, it is good all year round as well. Depending on the time of year you go, you can find snow-capped peaks or spectacular trails. The town has some of the best ski resorts in North America. There are also other relaxing activities you can plan such as visiting the hot springs or hitting the bars after a day full of adventure with friends.
3. Reykjavik, Iceland: Land of Fire and Ice
Iceland might not be the first place that comes to mind when you’re considering a guys’ trip, but the capital is actually a great place to set up camp while exploring the area. You can rent a 4×4 and hit the road. There are many waterfalls, glaciers, and volcanic craters to explore. Thrill seekers can dive between the tectonic plates of the Silfra Fissure or climb the glacier with crampons. At night, chase the Northern Lights or relax at the Blue Lagoon with your group. Reykjavik’s nightlife is equally exciting, offering everything from trendy bars to live music venues.
4. Patagonia, Argentina: The Ultimate Hiking Destination
Don’t worry there will be other regional destinations on the list, but going abroad can give you unforgettable moments on your friends’ trip. Patagonia has some of the most beautiful places in the world. I first saw some of the scenes in the episode oftop Gear. Perfect for a rugged adventure with friends. Torres del Paine National Park is a hiker’s dream, with trails leading to glaciers, turquoise lakes, and iconic granite peaks. For those who fish, Patagonia is home to world-class fly fishing. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to camp under the stars or stay in remote lodges for a true wilderness experience. Not to mention, you will have the option to organize horse riding and ice trekking trips.
5. Queenstown, New Zealand: Adventure Capital of the World
Queenstown lives up to its reputation as the ultimate destination for adventure seekers. Bungy jumping was invented here, and there’s no shortage of high-impact activities like skydiving, jet boating, and zip-lining. The town sits on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, surrounded by mountains perfect for hiking and cycling. In the winter, Queenstown transforms into a top ski resort with world-class resorts. We’ve all seen it Butterfly. Although I wouldn’t really like to plan that kind of trip, I would love to get to Las Vegas and create fun and memorable moments with my group. Beyond the casinos, bars, and strip clubs, there are many opportunities to explore nature. You can head to Red Rock Canyon for hiking, rock climbing, and amazing desert views. If you love motor sports, rent exotic cars and take them for a spin in the race. The Grand Canyon is just a helicopter ride away, offering an amazing day trip. Of course, the nightlife in Vegas is second to none, with world-class shows, nightclubs, and dining experiences.
7. Costa Rica: Eco-Adventures Galore
My wife lived in Costa Rica for a while in college and has always spoken fondly of that experience. When you look at it, Costa Rica is an eco-adventurer’s paradise. You can go zip-lining, whitewater rafting, and surfing. There are places where you can hike through lush forests, where you can see wild animals and rare waterfalls. Beaches on the Pacific and Caribbean coasts are perfect for sunbathing or catching waves. If you like volcanoes, climb the Arenal Volcano and relax in the nearby hot springs.
