The BMA said the stress test results confirm the Bermuda market’s ability to absorb financial market volatility, catastrophic events, and other written loss situations. Despite the large assumed losses, Bermuda insurance companies and reinsurers have demonstrated sufficient capital to meet policyholder obligations and regulatory requirements.
