Home Depot hosts another free Children’s Workshop in December. This month’s project is to build a Piggy Bank. This free workshop is available at your local Home Depot store on January 4th from 9 am to 12 pm.

What is the Kids Home Depot Workshop?

The Home Depot offers a variety of personalized and virtual play areas for children and adults. All are free and cover a variety of topics and project areas.

Each children’s workshop provides a how-to kit aimed at teaching children how to create useful and educational projects while emphasizing tool safety.

When are the home depot workshops?

Children’s events take place on the first Saturday of each month between 9am – 12pm.

They’re free and available in person, but you have to sign up ahead of time — and make sure you sign up for the right store location. And spaces are going fast!

Just click on the “register” link below the Children’s Workshop image and enter your information. Just make sure you’ve registered for the correct location (the location will appear at the top of the registration form).

Workshops are held from 9am – noon and are “come and go style”. You can stick to the entire 3-hour window or quickly finish your project and leave. In many cases, you can even take home a kit to do a project at home if you are short on time.
