7 Questions to Ask in Your Next Job Interview

2. “How do you handle feedback?”

4. “How do you handle stress?”

How you handle stress is often an indicator of how you will deal with stressful situations. Be sure to highlight the tools you use to deal with high stress situations. To really answer this question, give a specific example of a time when you handled a stressful situation well and how it motivated you.

5. “What does “diversity and inclusion” mean to you, and how can you promote it in the workplace?”

Diversity and inclusion is a priority for many companies. Your response should celebrate the different experiences and perspectives that everyone brings to the table and create an environment where everyone can be heard and participate in common goals. This question will test your leadership skills and commitment to a positive workplace.

6. How would you describe yourself in one word? Why?

Interview questions can be fun too. Some interviewers will throw in a simple question to see how you answer or know better. Some of the interviewees had questions like “What is your favorite ice cream flavor?” or “If you had a superpower, what would it be?” Try not to think too much about the motivation of these questions, but they should limit your skills in some way.
