What three services stand out for you?

“I focus on retirement and tax planning. I also do business value building and exit planning to help increase business value and make a smooth transition from business owner to a life of time and financial freedom.

Why did you become an editor?

“My real start in financial planning happened when I was 15 years old. My father, who also works in the industry, came home from work one night during the dot-com crash, having just spoken to a client. He was in his mid-70s and called to let her know that the good advice he had given her was allowing him to sleep at night. At that time when I was young, I saw the influence of strong and clear advice.”

What is your approach to financial planning?

“At my company, we believe that financial planning is about advice, first and foremost. We also believe that in today's world, no one person can be all things to all people. That's why we specialize in helping those who are about to retire and those who want to exit their business in the next five years to make a successful transition.”

What is your proudest achievement as a financial planner?

“Encouraging and helping an elderly client make a large legacy gift to his elderly children. The joy he shared with me at our next meeting was unbelievable. He was sure to tell you exactly how they all reacted and planned to use the first inheritance. “

What client success story can you share?

“I have a lot of stories about how clients can get to our first strategic session. They fear finding out how long they will have to work to support their lifestyle, and they walk away from that meeting with a sense of what might actually happen. And, in many cases, they are already in retirement.”
