Healthy churches, healthy leaders (via natalie ruion)
I'm so excited to welcome Natalie Ruion back to the studio for today's episode. If you remember my last conversation with him, you may remember how it left me deeply and inspired, and this time is no different. Natalie joins me to discuss her new book The house that Jesus commanded: To lead our churches back to God's original scripturesand I am very happy to study with him again.
Natalie's latest work picks up from her previous book Proposed to Stay Ishiya, with this new book on faith reconstruction, focuses on rebuilding the church that is true to its biblical roots. Natalie shares that a faith-breaking journey does not have to mean abandonment but can lead to an authentic and healthy church environment.
Join us as we explore what makes a truly healthy church, with Natalie stressing that it's not about quantity or plans but the real presence of the Holy Spirit. We discuss the practical signs of a thriving church community, including how to deal with real conflicts and the importance of having real leaders.
We also touch on the idea of finding service opportunities right in our everyday lives and how small acts of kindness can matter. Natalie challenges us to rethink what it means to serve and engage with our church community, encouraging us to be a source of support and encouragement rather than just looking for it.
I hope you'll tune in for this insightful conversation that promises to thrill and inspire. You might just find yourself inspired to look at your church community in a new light, so don't miss out! Make sure you read He was brought up to live If you haven't already made a previous order The house that Jesus rebuilt!
