Wall St opens muted after hot PPI keeps small rate cut per Reuters view

(Reuters) – Wall Street's main indexes were down at the open on Thursday as a reading of hot producer prices kept the Federal Reserve's 25-basis interest rate cut firmly on the table.

The point was down 0.4 when it opened at 40862.11. It rose 3.3 points, or 0.06%, to open at 5557.48, while rose 18.4 points, or 0.11%, to 17413.889, to open bell.
