Musk says SpaceX plans to launch as many as five unmanned spacecraft to Mars in two years Reuters
(Reuters) – SpaceX plans to launch as many as five unmanned Starships to Mars in two years, CEO Elon Musk said in a social media X post on Sunday.
“If all those countries live safely, the work of the workers can happen in four years,” he said, adding that if there are problems, the work of the workers will be postponed for another two years.
“No matter what happens with the success of the landing, SpaceX will increase the number of spacecraft to Mars exponentially with every possibility of transportation,” said the founder of SpaceX.
Musk talked about the launch of unmanned Starships to Mars earlier this month in a post on X, saying “the first Starships to Mars will be launched in 2 years when the next Earth-Mars transfer window opens.”
