Japan's Aug unemployment rate falls to 2.5%, job availability strengthens By Reuters

TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan's unemployment rate fell to 2.5 percent in August from 2.7 percent in July, government data said on Tuesday.

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate compared with the economists' median forecast of 2.6%.

The employment rate for applicants in August fell to 1.23 from 1.24 in July, separate labor department data said. The average prediction was 1.24.
