Hundreds of Hilton hotel workers walk off the job in Seattle By Reuters
(Reuters) – More than 100 workers at the Hilton hotel in Seattle have walked off the job demanding higher wages, fairer workers and more work, as well as a reversal of layoffs for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Unite Here union said on Saturday.
“The weekly strikes of 374 workers at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport and the Hilton Seattle Airport & Conference Center will continue until the early hours of October 19,” the union said.
