Elastic Announces 100% OpenTelemetry Experience for Kubernetes with OTel Operator By Investing.com
With Elastic (NYSE:) OpenTelemetry deployment, SREs can now simplify collector deployment, application-auto-instrumentation and lifecycle management without data translation.
SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Elastic (NYSE: ESTC), an AI Search Company, has announced support for Kubernetes visualization in the Elastic Distributions for OpenTelemetry (EDOT) portfolio, using the OpenTelemetry Operator. SREs can now access out-of-the-box configurations designed to simplify deployment of collectors, application automation and lifecycle management with Elastic Observability, providing complete visibility into Kubernetes environments.
As a 100% native OpenTelemetry solution, Elastic Observability eliminates the need for SREs to manage tedious schema changes, allowing fast, real-time visibility across K8s clusters through system metrics, logs and traces, it said.
